This project incorporates the art direction, animation, and editing for a fictional beverage brand based in Gothenburg. The visual identity was built upon a foundation of curated public domain illustrations, which served as the inspiration for the label designs of Gösta Lejons Äppelmust, Folke Buksvåls Enbärstonic, and Arne Hjelms Sodavatten. By blending vintage aesthetics with a modern brand narrative, the project explores how historical imagery can be repurposed to create a cohesive and character-driven commercial identity.
The primary objective was to achieve a rhythmic, comedic energy through a tight synergy between the animation and sound design. Every movement was choreographed to the music to enhance the playful nature of the brand, ensuring the pacing felt both deliberate and engaging. From the initial graphic design phase to the final synchronized edit, the workflow focused on balancing a quirky, nostalgic charm with a fast-paced, contemporary animation style.
